Fun at the Pool

We have enjoyed going to the pool this summer. Avery loves the splash pad at Cranebrook Pool because it has shallow water with many fun activities for her to do. She loves walking all around and playing in the water.

Mom's 60th Surprise Birthday Party

Tonight we gave mom a surprise 60th birthday party! I knew I wanted to do something special for her since she is the one that is always "doing" for everyone else. The plans were in the works for months. I told mom that Scott and I had a party that we had to go to and I needed her to babysit Avery. When she showed up everyone was hiding in the living room.

Gymboree Play Class

Avery just started a Gymboree Play class on Thursdays. She is in the level 4 class that has toddlers that are 16 - 22 months. She absolutely loves going. These are a few pictures from our class today.

Art Time

Avery is really becoming quite the artist. She loves to color and paint, but does not like it when anything "dirty" gets on her hands. These little paints are just perfect because they are just the right size and shape for the palm of her hand and there is no dipping or spilling which makes mom and Avery happy. Avery is always so proud to show daddy her artwork when he gets home and loves to hang it on the refrigerator.

Father's Day

Happy Father's Day Scott! You are such an amazing daddy to Avery and such a wonderful husband to me. We both love you so much! We had such a great day today celebrating you and what you mean to us.

32nd Birthday

I had a great 32nd birthday. Scott and I went to Pappas Brother Steak house for a nice dinner. Avery went to Mimi and Paw Paw's house and had a great time. It was so nice for just the two of us to get away for the evening.

Safari Stop

Today we met a few friends at the Safari Stop at The Woodlands United Methodist Church. It is a great place for summertime play because it is like an indoor playground.

Water Fountains at Market Street

Tonight we went to the water fountains at Market Street. Avery always loves to "watch" the kids play in the fountains, but is a little hesitant to get in herself.

New Baby Doll

Avery is so in to baby dolls these days. We made a trip to Target this morning to pick up a few things and left with a baby doll too. When we came home, she could not put it down.
